Lena gained a BSc(Hons) degree in Chemistry with Industrial Experience at the University of Edinburgh in 1999. She decided to look into complementary medicine after having seen amazing improvements to chronic arthritic pain experienced by her mother. Following 4 years of study and supervised clinical practice at the Northern College of Acupuncture & Clinics in York, Lena gained a degree with distinction in Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture in 2004.

Member of the British Acupuncture Council

Members of the BAcC have completed a thorough training of at least three years in traditional acupuncture and bio-medical sciences appropriate to the practice of acupuncture. The BAcC maintains common standards of education, ethics, discipline and practice to ensure high standards in the practice of acupuncture and health and safety of all its members. They are also ensure that their members are fully insured and conform to local regulations.
